VfL Wolfsburg will be without midfielder Mattias Svanberg for the remaining two games of the season.
The 25-year-old Swede, who has made 25 Bundesliga appearances (one goal) this season, underwent surgery on his left shoulder today (Tuesday) – after enduring persistent problems with it – and came through the operation well.
We wish Mattias a speedy recovery and a quick return to the pitch.
