Fabio Di Michele Sanchez, who recently spent time on loan at Dutch second-division side NAC Breda, is leaving VfL Wolfsburg for 1. FC Saarbrücken. The 20-year-old full-back joined the Wolves in 2016 and progressed through all the Green-and-Whites’ youth teams up until 2022.
Di Michele Sanchez is set to link up with a familiar face at Saarbrücken. The Saarland club are currently coached by Rüdiger Ziehl, who was in charge of VfL’s Under-23 side from 2016 to 2020. The two clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms of the transfer.
