“After managing to extend our partnership with Zillertal at the end of this summer, we’re even more excited for the upcoming camp. Zillertal has provided us with the optimal pre-season training conditions for many, many years, and we always feel at home there when we’re surrounded by the beautiful mountains. Zell-Gerlos, which is located in the heart of the Zillertal, will be home to a lot of Green-White action in 2024. As well as a visit from the players, the town will also host a fan and sponsor trip, where the Werder Football School will hold their popular ProfiCAMP for young, aspiring Green-Whites. More details to both of these events will come in the following months. “The school holidays in Bremen and Niedersachsen are set to occur at the exact time that we’ll be in Zillertal with the team. This will, of course, give the fans from our area the chance to enjoy their summer break in Zillertal, and be just a stone’s throw away from the boys,” Filbry shared.

The training sessions, pre-season games, and the exchanges between the team and the fans are very special for us to experience every year in the Zillertal region,” said Ronald Felder, chief executive of the Zillertal tourism board.
