“Lee has shown good development in his first year with us but has been dissatisfied with the amount of game time and expressed his desire for a change. There has been interest in him from clubs in the Championship for quite some time. With this move back to England, we have found a good solution for all involved. Buchanan joined Werder from Derby County last summer and made a total of 21 Bundesliga appearances for the Green-Whites, scoring one goal. He also featured twice in the DFB-Pokal.
