Every year, on the evening before Christmas eve, the Union family meet up at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei to get in the mood for the festive season together.
Since demand for tickets for the traditional Christmas sing-along on 23 December is higher than the number of available places, advance ticket sales are distributed through a lottery. This is to give as many Union fans as possible the chance to be there.
Every Union member has the option of securing a free ticket for either standing or seating. In the event of a notification of a win, the ticket entitles the holder to book up to two tickets (one free, and one purchased ticket).
From Thursday, 7 November 2024 to Monday, 11 November 2024, club members can purchase a ticket online. Ticket booking for ticket winners starts on Thursday, 14 November 2024.
If winners do not use their ticket quota, the remaining tickets will be available from 19 November 2024 on the secondary market for members who did not book tickets in the lottery.

- Entitle for: lottery winners
- Limitation: a maximum of two tickets (standing or seated, depending on the winning ticket), free tickets must be added to the shopping basket independently
Unredeemed winning tickets / secondary ticket market sales
- Entitled: members who have not yet purchased tickets
- Limitation: maximum of two tickets**
