Info for fans attending Leipzig match

On Friday, 1. FC Union Berlin will go up against RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga at the Stadion An der Alten Försterei.

The match will go ahead under 2G regulations with 13,506 the maximum capacity limit. For Union members, who do not have a season ticket, the official Secondary Ticket Market is the exclusive opportunity to get tickets if available.

Gates open from 18:30. 

All ticket holders are encouraged to arrive in good time to make the entry as smooth as possible.

Ticket holders who collect 2G control bands from Thursday will be able to enter the stadium without further document controls.

Proof of vaccination or recovery:

The following documentation is accepted (exclusively digital):

  • Proof of vaccination with a vaccine approved by the European Union and whose last required vaccination was at least 14 days ago (Friday, 19.11.2021).

  • Proof of recovery after a positive PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection more than six months ago (Friday, 04.06.2021) and who have received at least one vaccination against Covid-19 with a vaccine approved by the European Union.

  • Proof of recovery after a positive PCR test result for SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection at least 28 days (Friday, 05.11.2021) and not more than six months (Friday, 04.06.2021) ago.

Exceptions:

  • Children up to six years old.
  • Teenagers under 18. They must provide a negative rapid test (24h eligibility) or a PCR-Test (48h eligibility).
  • School pupils who undergo regular testing as part of school attendance (bring school ID).
  • People who can’t be vaccinated due to medical reasons. They must provide a negative PCR Test (48h eligibility) and written medical certificate from doctor.

Stadium opening and rules:

  • The stadium opens at 18:30 CET.
  • A medical or FFP-2 mask must be worn at all times and can only be removed for consumption of food and drink.
  • For track and trace, tickets are personalised and cannot be passed on. A re-personalisation is possible online.
  • A season ticket or Print@Home ticket is only valid with personal ID.

Test Centre Alte Försterei

The Test Centre Alte Försterei is open:

  • Thurs 7:00 until 14:00 
  • Fr 7:00 Uhr until 20:30 

Journey to Stadium:

Those arriving by bicycle are requested to use the bicycle racks provided. Bicycles parked along the stadium fences will be removed for safety reasons.
