The third and final international break of the calendar year is here and 1. FC Union Berlin will allow four players to join up with their respective national team squads.

Goalkeeper Frederik Rönnow and Denmark have already qualified for the 2022 World Cup ahead of the final group matches. The Danes play the Faroe Islands on 12th November before heading to Glasgow to face Scotland on November 15.

Tymoteusz Puchacz and Poland are in the hunt for a World Cup berth. A win in Andorra or at home to Hungary should be enough to make a place in the World Cup safe or a spot in the play-offs for the ten group runners-up and two qualifiers from the UEFA Nations League. Julian Ryerson and Norway face a similar predicament and face Latvia and the Netherlands in the next fortnight.

Meanwhile, Genki Haraguchi heads off to Japan to compete for World Cup qualification. The Samurai Blues are down in fourth in their group but have the chance to turn things around.
