1. FC Union Berlin will relign the structure of our fan liaison department ahead of the new season. The goal is to develop the network of services for supporters, the fan clubs and organised fan groups that have grown around the club in recent years, as well as, come closer together. These groups have specific strengths which are more clearly recognisable and better usable for fans.
“Union has been growing continuously for years, also in the area of fans and members. This also results in changed requirements for the club’s fan support, which is to act as a central contact point for fans and as an interface for the various services. We will also be taking account of the change in content in terms of personnel and filling the position of fan liaison officer,” said Union President Dirk Zingler. “We would like to thank Lars Schnell for his many years of service in this role, who will be leaving us at his own request once the position has been filled. We wish him all the best and much success in his new career.”
