1. FC Union Berlin will welcome Slavia Prague to Berlin on Thursday December 9. The last group stage match of the UEFA Europa Conference League will take place at the Olympic Stadium.
The changes confirmed by the Senate of Berlin to the Infection Protection Regulations will see the match go ahead with a maximum capacity of 5,000.
As the demand for tickets was significantly higher than the now newly defined upper capacity limit, all tickets booked to date will lose their validity. Day ticket holders will have their tickets automatically refunded. Four-ticket holders will not be charged.
All Union fans who have secured their season ticket for the group stage in advance with a four-seater ticket for the Conference League can register for a lottery from the beginning of next week and thus still have the chance to be present at the decisive final game.
Union will announce the procedure for the draw in the next few days and will inform all ticket holders by e-mail.
