During VfB’s Bundesliga match at VfL Bochum on Sunday evening, the DFB Cup semi-final draw was made. The head coach of Germany’s national handball team, Alfred Gislason, made the draw, and handed VfB a home game against Eintracht Frankfurt. SC Freiburg and RB Leipzig will contest the other last-four tie.
The fixtures will take place on 2 and 3 May, with the exact dates and kick-off times to be confirmed soon. The final will be held on 3 June in Berlin.
