Having joined fellow Bundesliga side Darmstadt 98 on a season-long loan last summer, 25-year-old Matej Maglica’s move has now been made a permanent one with the two clubs agreeing terms.
“After joining them in the summer, Matej settled very quickly and has established himself in Darmstadt,” said VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth. “We have agreed a suitable transfer fee with our counterparts at the club and would like to wish Matej all the very best for the rest of his career.”
