Angelo Stiller and VfB – so far it’s been a success story. Since his move to Bad Cannstatt from Hoffenheim, the 22-year-old has made six appearances, and VfB have won all six matches. Stiller has contributed to those successes with his strong tackling and vision in midfield. He’s also assured in his ball distribution, with a pass completion rate of 93.3 percent. “He’s capable of dictating play,” commented VfB head coach Sebastian Hoeneß.

“I feel very settled in the city, in the team and in our stadium,” said the midfielder ahead of the home match against his former employers Hoffenheim (28 October, 15:30 CEST). “It’s great fun. I won’t complain if it carries on like this.”

Stiller made 52 appearances in all competitions for TSG from 2021 to 2023, scoring four goals. “It’s always special playing against an ex-club. We’ll keep working hard and want to win again on Saturday,” he added.
