VfB Stuttgart have been handed a tie away to Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the last eight of the DFB Cup, per the draw on Sunday evening. The match will be played on 30/31 January or 6/7 February 2024, with the exact date and kick-off time to be confirmed soon.
VfB sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth: “There’s no doubt we’ve been given the toughest draw possible. Leverkusen have got a fantastic team, as we saw today. The fact we’re playing away makes the task all the harder. Nevertheless, we’re obviously going into it with the aim of reaching the semi-finals. The first half in particular of our game today showed that we can do it.”
