Jeremiah St. Juste has signed for Sporting CP and will join the Portuguese club for the start of next season. The 25-year-old has agreed a four-year deal with the club, who finished runners-up in this year’s Primeira Liga. The two clubs have agreed not disclose the transfer fee.

“Jeremiah approached us and expressed his desire to join Sporting Lisbon, as he is keen to take the next steps in his career in another country. We fully understood and accepted his decision. However, it was also important for us to come to a transfer agreement that was in line with our financial requirements. We wish Jeremiah all the best at his new club. Despite the fact he has missed much of this season due to injury, he has played an important role at Mainz over the last three years,” said Christian Heidel.

St. Juste joined The Zerofivers from Feyenoord back in the summer of 2019 and made 69 appearances for the club (3 goals, 3 assists). The Dutchman only played eight games this season due to a shoulder injury.
