Jonathan Meier has left 1.FSV Mainz 05. The left-back has signed a deal with recently relegated Dynamo Dresden.
The transfer sees the 22-year-old return to familiar surroundings. Prior to his loan to Hansa Rostock he had already spent the 2020/21 campaign on loan with Dynamo in the capital of Saxony.

Meier signed with Mainz in 2019 from the FC Bayern academy. He featured eleven times for the Mainz U23 in the Regionalliga Südwest, scoring twice.
