Timo Werner scored twice and set up another goal in our 3-2 home win over FC Augsburg on the day that saw him reach 100 Bundesliga career goals!
The rest of April was also successful for Timo and RBL. We moved up to third in the table and are in a great position to reach the Champions League once again next season.
On top of that, we have reached our fourth DFB-Pokal in the last five years. Timo opened the scoring in our 2-0 quarter-final win over BVB, before we won 5-1 in the semi-finals in Freiburg last week.
The Bundesliga are once again running a Player of the Month award this season. Since 2018/19, the voting has been done in partnership with EA SPORTS. Both fans and experts can have their say.
