• “It’s pretty much always been difficult to play against RB Leipzig. This alone makes the club so exciting for me. On top of that, they have a clear style of play here and very high quality in the squad.

  For me, it is one of the most exciting clubs in Europe and a club you can win titles at. As I said, I think we have a great opportunity here.”

…his qualities:

• “I’m a player who always gives 100 percent when I am on the pitch. I can also cause problems for the opposition. I’m an attacking player, but I also put everything into challenges and winning the ball. That’s why teammates sometimes have to tell me that I’m going in a bit too hard, even in training.

  Every now and then I can produce something special. I can use a back heel when I have to. I hope I can show a lot of that. I’m also quite an emotional guy, especially when it comes to goals. I let my emotions run free.
   

…the somersault goal celebration:

• “I used to do the somersault quite often when I was young. I practised it at school, in the garden, at home, on the trampoline. I’m quite acrobatic and can try one or two things, but of course there’s always the risk that comes with it.

  From that point of view, it doesn’t happen often, but maybe I’ll bring something out when I scored a goal or two in Leipzig.”
