In early May, the PreZero Arena became the first European stadium to be officially certified by TÜV Süd for its waste and recyclable materials management in accordance with DIN Specification 91436. In order to draw further attention to the issue, the game on Matchday 3 against VfL Wolfsburg has been declared a special matchday. TSG will be wearing a custom kit that spreads the “Zero Waste” message. The club would like to thank long-standing partners SAP and hep global for this, as they are waiving their rights to advertising on the chest and sleeves.
