After finishing in seventh place in the Bundesliga, it became clear that TSG Hoffenheim would play European football, but it was unclear which competition. Now there is certainty: TSG will represent the Bundesliga in the UEFA Europa League in the 2024/25 season.
Hoffenheim’s opponents will be determined on 30 August. That is when the draw for the Europa League takes place. The first match will then take place on 25/26 September. Overall, TSG can look forward to eight European outings.
“Qualification for the Europa League means “Hoffe international” for the fourth time in the last eight years. That is an outstanding achievement for a club like TSG. By the end of this season, however, we have not only seen a strong finish in the table and great performances, but also numerous players develop fantastically. We’re very much looking forward to this competition, which is being played in a new format for the first time, and are approaching it with ambition and optimism,” said Alexander Rosen, the Managing Director for Sport, about the competition.
