“In André, we signed a coach who enjoyed a high degree of acceptance from day one, not only from the team but also from the entire staff, our employees at the office and all our fans and partners. We thank him for the amiable collaboration and the many positive moments, especially at the beginning of our time together,” said TSG director of football Alexander Rosen.

André Breitenreiter joined TSG from FC Zürich last summer. After six rounds of matches, he had guided his team to fourth position in the table. Since then, the team have picked up only seven points from 13 games – during which they scored 16 goals and conceded 29. Their last three points came back on 14 October last year a 3-0 win away to FC Schalke 04. TSG have already lost five matches in front of their own fans. Breitenreiter oversaw 22 competitive games for TSG Hoffenheim.
