“Bamba has repeatedly shown not only in the training sessions but also in his cameo appearances in the Bundesliga – what extraordinary capabilities he possesses. We have every confidence that he will establish himself as a Bundesliga player at TSG in the future,” said Pirmin Schwegler, the Director of Professional Football in Hoffenheim. “At the current stage of his career, however, it is predominantly about getting onto the pitch regularly and racking up game time at the highest possible level. For this reason, we have jointly made the decision to loan Bamba out to the ambitious second-division club Karlsruher SC for the upcoming season so that he can take the next step in his career there. We’re certain that this loan will definitely pay off both for Bamba and for us as a club.”

Bambasé Conté moved to Hoffenheim from the 1. FC Kaiserslautern youth setup in July 2018. Last season, Conté made seven appearances for the TSG first team in the Bundesliga and also featured in the DFB-Pokal on one occasion. Over the last three years, the attacking player made a total of 23 appearances for the Hoffenheim Regionalliga team (six goals and seven assists). In addition, Conté has already played two matches for the Germany U20 national team and made just as many appearances for the DFB U16 youth team prior to that.
