‘Serhatinho’ transferred to TSG from FC Schalke 04 last year, and as a leading player played a decisive role in a strong second half of the season, in which TSG finished among the top five teams in the South-East division. This was followed by successful qualification in the playoffs for the Virtual Bundesliga Club Championship in Cologne, which was the second-best national result for TSG eSPORTS. Individually, ‘Serhatinho’ reached the quarter-finals of the VBL Grand Final. In November 2023, he qualified for the FC Pro Open Global Qualifier in London, meaning he was among the best 64 EA FC players in the world at the time. In June he received his first nomination for a training course for the German National eTeam.
‘Lisch3103’ also to leave our team
“Last season, Serhat took on a key role in our team and contributed decisively to the success of the whole team,” said TSG eSPORTS team manager Gordon Lesser. “With his performance and his experience, he has proved himself to be someone who offers significant impetus for the department, not only on the virtual pitch, but also beyond it. We would like to thank him for his contribution and wish him all the best in future in his sporting career and in his personal life. Even though we are now parting ways, Serhat will of course remain a part of the TSG family and will always be very welcome here.”
In addition to ‘Serhatinho’, Lisandro ‘Lisch3103’ Schenk will also be leaving our team. ‘Lisch3103’ managed to convince our scouts last year in the TSG eChampion final, and was subsequently signed to the newly-founded TSG eAcademy.
