“Back then, we had to win by a two-goal margin against Borussia Dortmund in order to be certain of reaching the Champions League. My goal meant that we were in the group stages of the top competition for the first time. I’ve already watched the goal at least 200 times. Every time when I’m in a bad mood, I look at the scene and then I’m happy again afterwards.

My wife and my daughter were in the toilet at the time and missed that goal, of all moments, but I saw my father in the stand and the lads immediately threw themselves on top of me.
