Eight TSG Hoffenheim players have taken part in EURO 2024 and they all battled for a place in the round of 16. Five players made it through in the end. Maximilian Beier and Oliver Baumann finished in first place in Group A and will go up against Jacob Bruun Larsen and Denmark, who ended Group C in second spot, in the last 16 of the tournament.
Florian Grillitsch and Austria pulled off a surprise. Ralf Rangnick’s team finished a difficult group containing France, the Netherlands and Poland in first position and will face off against Türkiye in the round of 16. Wout Weghorst and the Netherlands will play against Romania.
Meanwhile, Attila Szalai’s Hungary, Andrej Kramarić’s Croatia and David Jurásek’s Czechia missed out on the next round. Unfortunately, the tournament is over for the trio.
