“Thomas and Kasper are two great characters who have always put themselves at the service of the team,” said TSG’s director of football Alexander Rosen. “Thomas came to us following an injury and with little playing time under his belt. Despite his difficult sporting situation, he conducted himself in an absolutely exemplary manner both on the pitch and in the dressing room as a leader. Kasper needed some time to settle in with us and to show his undoubtedly great potential on the pitch. Unfortunately, he was temporarily set back by a head injury, meaning that his contribution to our ultimately successful end to the season did not turn out to be even bigger,” Rosen continued.

Delaney was signed on loan from Spanish top-tier team FC Sevilla in January 2023 in response to Grischa Prömel’s serious injury. The central midfielder made six Bundesliga appearances for TSG and also played one match for Hoffenheim in the DFB-Pokal. The 31-year-old will now return to Seville on 1 July 2023, where he still has a contract until 30 June 2025.

Dolberg arrived in the Kraichgau from French top-flight team OGC Nice in January 2023. The 25-year-old Danish international striker played 13 times for TSG in the Bundesliga, scoring one goal. Dolberg made one appearance in the DFB-Pokal, where he also scored one goal. The Dane will now return to the Côte d’Azur on 1 July 2023.
