“In Makkabi Deutschland we have found a partner that firstly will give us access to a wide variety of individual sporting disciplines. This will provide further valuable scientific input and data, from physiological to psychological performance factors,” said Jan Spielmann, managing director of TSG ResearchLab. Secondly, we are united by a shared ethos of combining sport with learning, as well as a clear stance against antisemitism, racism, and all forms of xenophobia.
The first individual athletes have already visited Zuzenhausen: the talented Judokas Illya and David and Henry Davidov underwent a wide range of diagnostic tests (including Helix and the Vienna Test System). The data collected from these tests on Makkabi professionals will now be analysed and then evaluated by TSG ResearchLab and Makkabi Deutschland. Planning is underway for further data collection in cooperation with other Makkabi sports departments.
