Late shock for Andrej Kramarić and Croatia: the Croats were pegged back to 1-1 by Italy’s Mattia Zaccagni in the eighth minute of stoppage time in the final round of group matches. The draw means the 2018 World Cup finalists are facing elimination. The Croats ended Group B in third position and are currently only fifth in the ranking of third-placed teams; only the four best third-placed teams will progress.

Kramarić again proved to be one the rays of light for his team in the third match. The TSG player won a penalty through a piece of individual play in the 52nd minute. Luka Modric missed the spot-kick but made it 1-0 30 seconds later. Kramarić was substituted in the 90th minute and watched the equalising goal from the bench.

There will be several TSG players in action on Tuesday. Wout Weghorst and the Netherlands will take on Florian Grillitsch’s Austria at 18:00 CEST. Jacob Bruun Larsen will also be in action for Denmark against Serbia at 21:00 CEST.
