The Germany national team have reached the quarter-finals of EURO 2024: coach Julian Nagelsmann’s side beat Denmark 2-0 in Dortmund on Saturday evening. TSG stars Maximilian Beier and Oliver Baumann are therefore also through to the last eight. However, neither player featured in the win over Denmark.

For Jacob Bruun Larsen, on the other hand, the tournament is over. The Dane celebrated his EURO debut this year after coming on as a substitute in the 81st minute, but he was powerless to prevent his side falling to a 2-0 defeat.

Florian Grillitsch and the Austrian national team face Turkey on Tuesday (21:00 CEST). Before that, Wout Weghorst and the Netherlands will face Romania.
