SC Freiburg’s pre-season opponents are set. SCR Altach, SpVgg Greuther Fürth, RC Strasbourg and ACF Fiorentina await the club in the coming weeks. The club will stream each of the friendlies live on the official SC Freiburg YouTube channel.
The team’s first game, as part of its summer training camp, will see them visit Austrian Bundesliga side SCR Altach on 19th July. Exactly one week later, the training camp will conclude in Schruns as SC face Greuther Fürth at 14:00 CEST.
As in the past three years, the pre-season calendar also includes a cross-border clash with RC Strasbourg, which will take place in Colmar on 3rd August. Starting at 15:30 CEST, the teams will face off in two consecutive games.
The highlight of the pre-season schedule is undoubtedly the season curtain-raiser on 10th August against Italian side ACF Fiorentina. Fiorentina reached the final of the UEFA Conference League last season, as well as securing an eighth-place finish in Serie A.
