Keven Schlotterbeck joined SC Freiburg II in 2017 from TSG Backnang, before making his first team debut in February 2019 in the away clash against VfB Stuttgart. The 27-year-old made 53 appearances for SC in the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and UEFA Europa League, and spent the last season and a half out on loan at VfL Bochum.

“Keven has developed into an experienced Bundesliga player over the past few years,” explained director of sport Jochen Saier. “He’s also a great guy who will have no problems integrating himself into the team at Augsburg. We wish him all the best for his future both on and off the pitch.”

“I’ve had many great experiences at SC Freiburg, including the Pokal final in Berlin. I would like to wish the team all the best and express my gratitude to the fans for the incredible support over the years,” remarked Schlotterbeck.
