While Germany are playing two friendlies ahead of next year’s EURO 2024 at home, the other European nations will start their qualification campaign for that tournament. There are some exciting fixtures over the first two matchdays for the SC lads. Vincenzo Grifo and Italy will face England, meanwhile Mark Flekken’s Netherlands will travel to France. Overall, 14 SC players have been called up for international duty.
The players left at the club will play Austrian side SCR Altach on Thursday at 14:00 CET behind closed doors. Altach, currently coached by Miroslav Klose, are bottom of the Bundesliga, but did earn a point against league leaders RB Salzburg at the weekend.
