2023-24 home strip all white

New home kit now available

1. FC Köln fans have two real homes – their own and the one in Müngersdorf. No matter where they watch home games in the 2023-24 season, they will be watching in their home kit in white, just like Schäfer, Overath and Thielen back in 1963-64, as 1. FC Köln became the first club to win the newly formed Bundesliga.

60 years since the historic success, FC and kit provider hummel have interpreted the kit from that season. The Jacquard pattern in the material and the red accents on the shoulders help to bring the first Bundesliga-winning kit into the modern era.

“The thought of celebrating this historic success with our new home kit was something that immediately appealed to us. We are really pleased that, together with hummel and our kit committee, we’ve been able to achieve such a result. With the new strip, we are not just wearing our history but also values like sustainability and diversity, which play a central role for us,” explained FC Managing Director, Markus Rejek.

Live as you are

The kit was developed in close collaboration with members of the 1. FC Köln kit committee and is an expression of the engagement of partners in the areas of sustainability, inclusion and diversity. It is made out of 100% recycled polyester, has the claim “1. FC KÖLN X HUMMEL” on the hip and in the neck area is the text “1. FC KÖLN – SPÜRBAR ANDERS”. Also in the neck area is the logo of the FC campaign “LEBE WIE DU BIST (live as you are)” as a sign of acceptance, diversity and equality as well as against discrimination and exclusion. On the back of the neck area is a small FC crest for the first time.

“We are incredibly proud to pay homage to the historic spirit of FC Köln’s triumph in 1964 through the launch of the new home kit for the 2023/24 season. This jersey not only celebrates the unity and passion that propelled the club to become the first-ever Bundesliga champions but also embodies the unwavering dedication and enduring legacy of FC Köln. We look forward to seeing the players sporting this iconic jersey, embracing the spirit of 1964, and inspiring both current fans and future generations,” said hummel CEO, Allan Vad Nielsen.

The new FC home kit is now available for 79.95€ for adults (members 71.96€) and 59.95€ for kids (members 62.96€) in FC fanshops and online.
