Red and white are the colours of 1. FC Köln. This combination is to be seen, as per usual, through our kits for the 2023-24 season. After the FC home kit was presented all in white, the away kit features pinstripes in different shades of red.

The kit was, just like the new home strip, closely designed with the members of the kit committee. Alongside the timeless design, which separates the left and right sides of the kit, the new away strip offers up further highlights. In the neck area, “1. FC Köln – SPÜRBAR ANDERS” as well as the logo from the FC campaign “LEBE wie du bist (Live as you are)” – as a sign of acceptance, diversity, and equality as well as against discrimination and exclusion. Just like the home kit, the away strip will also have a small FC crest on the outer neck area.

To mark the 100-year anniversary of the Danish kit supplier hummel, the design of the away kit looks back on the Danish national team strip from 1986. This was also leaned on the pinstripe look with the colours separating the two sides of the kits. The strip will also be worn by three Danish-born players: Kristian Pedersen, Mathias Olesen and Jacob Christensen.

“Although the Danish kit from 1986 has been talked about a lot and has claimed many international awards due to the cult design. Therefore, we are proud to present this design on the pitch as part of our 100-year anniversary celebrations,” said Allan Cad Nielsen, hummel CEO.

The new FC away kit is now available for adults for 79.95€ (FC members, 71.96€) and 59.95€ for kids (FC members, 53.96€) in FC fanshops and online.
