“There is no city where sport is so rooted. I have the feeling: Dortmund is BVB. This enthusiasm and identification are madness for me,” says the North German, who wanted to combine tradition and modernity in his design: “With the drawing, which is reminiscent of a coal dash, I have immortalised the heart of the Ruhr region on the jersey.” Find out what motivated him to take part in the competition in the video.
