Borussia Dortmund are in Leverkusen on Sunday. Kick-off is at 17:30 CET. We have compiled all the info on our away game in a compact format below. This page will be updated if there is any news.
Referee: Siebert in charge
Daniel Siebert, a 39-year-old teacher from Berlin, will oversee the match. Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn will be the linesmen, with Florian Badstübner the fourth official. Benjamin Cortus will observe the action as the “VAR”. Siebert made his Bundesliga debut in a match between Schalke 04 and FC Augsburg on 1 September 2012. The 1.91-metre-tall Berlin native has been a FIFA referee since 2014 and cites sport and travel as his main interests. He is seen as a very level-headed referee. He refereed his first BVB game on 12 September 2015 when Borussia won by a 4-2 scoreline in Hanover. In total, he has taken charge of 25 league matches involving BVB (18 wins, three draws and four defeats). He last refereed BVB in their home game against Köln last season (6-1).
