Fan info for the U23 away game in Münster

The BVB U23s will be away to SC Preußen Münster in the opening round of the new season on Saturday. The match will take place at the Preußenstadion and will kick off at 14:00 CET. We have compiled the most important information for away supporters.

Tickets

The away sector is sold-out, so there will be no ticket office open on the day.

Travel

Travel by car/minibus:

  • Car park P4 in the direct vicinity of the away entrance is available to visiting fans.
    • Parking fee: €3
  • If you are coming by car from the north, south and west, drive to the Münster Süd motorway junction. Then follow the bypass and turn off in the direction of Hammer Straße/Hiltrup. If you follow Hammer Straße you will reach the Preußenstadion, which is on the right-hand side, after about 1 km. Turn into the street “Am Berg Fidel” and follow the signs to P4.
  • Alternatively, you can take the A1 to the Hiltrup exit. Take Hammer Straße through Hiltrup in the direction of Münster. Then turn right onto Trauttmansdorffstraße towards Berg Fidel. After 300 metres, turn right into the street “Am Berg Fidel”.
  • If you are coming by car from the east, drive along Warendorfer Straße and change to the B51 bypass. Follow this road for about six kilometres before taking the Hiltrup exit. From there, follow Hammer Straße for approximately another kilometre.

Travel by public transport:

  • Train travellers should use Münster Hauptbahnhof and take the exit towards the city centre upon arrival.
  • Free-of-charge shuttle buses from Münster Hauptbahnhof to the away sector of the Preußenstadion will be provided for away fans.
  • The shuttle buses will depart directly from the main station and stop directly at the away block.
  • Shuttle buses from the away block to Münster Hauptbahnhof will be provided again after the game too.

Admission

  • The stadium will open at 12:00 CET.
  • Admission to the away sector will be via the street “Am Berg Fidel”.
  • Backpacks and bags may be deposited at the away entrance.

The following fan items are permitted:

  • 3 megaphones (already assigned)
  • 3 drums (open on one side, already assigned)
  • Fence flags
  • Small flags (up to a pole length of 2.0 metres with empty plastic tubing)
  • Double holders
  • Swivel flags

Fan items that are not permitted:

  • Pyrotechnics of any kind
  • Block flags

Forbidden items:

  • Rucksacks
  • Bottles and cans of any type
  • Camera equipment or similar for commercial use

Stadium

  • BVB fans will be accommodated in standing blocks K1 and K2. The actual away sector is closed due to renovation works.
  • Please note that access to the blocks L-O is generally forbidden to away fans.
  • Food and drinks can only be paid for with cash.
    • Alcohol is served at the stadium.
    • Please note the applicable Stadium Rules.

Miscellaneous

  • On Saturday, a camera-based traffic analysis will take place around the stadium in connection with the renovation work at the Preußenstadion. Among other things, this will also affect the entrance to away car park P4. The traffic analysis has no relation to police operations on match day.
