Borussia Dortmund’s U23s will kick off the campaign away to Preußen Münster on the weekend of 4-6 August. The first home game will take place two weeks later against SC Freiburg’s U23s. The Black & Yellows will travel to Halle on the final day of the season on 18 May 2024. Update: The DFB has scheduled the U23s’ first match for 14:00 CET on 5 August.

Ingo Preuß was satisfied with the fixture schedule, “even though I would’ve liked to finally start off a season with a nice home game.” The last time BVB kicked off a campaign on home soil was against the VfB Stuttgart U23s in 2013.

The exact fixtures will be announced by the DFB several weeks in advance.
