Striker Cyrill Akono is joining VfB Lübeck after half a year with Borussia Dortmund’s U23s.

Akono made twelve appearances for the Black and Yellows in the 3. Liga last season. Now the 23-year-old is returning to Lübeck, who won promotion from the 3. Liga last season, having already spent the second half of the 2020/21 season there. Both clubs have agreed not to disclose the terms of the deal.
