For the first time, BVB and the Nordstadtliga are jointly organising a tournament in which young people can compete in football on the pitch and on the console. The first “Weiße Wiese eBolz Cup” will take place on 24 September 2023 in Hoeschpark.

The tournament will be played in a historic setting not far from the Weiße Wiese, the first venue for Borussia Dortmund games. The “Weiße Wiese eBolz Cup” will take place on Sunday, 24 September 2023, from 11:00 to 17:30 CET in the Hoeschpark. Teams from two different age groups (13 to 15 years and 16 to 18 years) will compete against each other both on the football pitch and at the same time at EA SPORTS FC 24 on the console. Each team will consist of five to eight members. Boys’, girls’ and mixed teams are all welcome. No club membership or other stipulations are required for participation.

Tournament mode

  • The teams will compete three-on-three on the football pitch and in teams of two at EA SPORTS FC 24 on the console.
  • The playing time both on the pitch and on the console will be six minutes.
  • The winner of a game will be the team who have scored the most goals on aggregate across both the analogue and digital formats.
  • The teams will initially meet in a group phase, with all teams in each group playing against each other once.
  • The first place team in each group will move into the quarter-finals.
