Borussia Dortmund will be away to TSV Schott Mainz on Saturday. Kick-off is at 15:30 CET. We have compiled all the info on our DFB-Pokal first round tie in a compact format. This page will be updated if there is any news.

Benjamin Brand to referee

The 34-year-old business economist from Gerolzhofen is overseeing a DFB-Pokal first-round tie involving Borussia Dortmund for the third time, having previously taken charge last season away to 1860 Munich and against SV Wilhelmshaven in 2013. BVB won both clashes 3-0. Brand has previously refereed five BVB games in the Bundesliga (four wins and one draw). Thomas Stein and Dr. Martin Thomsen will be the linesmen, with Mario Hildenbrand the fourth official. VAR is still not used at this stage of the competition.

Live broadcast: Sky & Net Radio

The match can be watched live on TV on Sky. The pre-match coverage will start at 14:00 CET. BVB’s game will be broadcast on Sky Sport 2 from 15:00 CET, with Martin Groß as commentator. The BVB Net Radio will give the usual Black & Yellow take, with Boris Rupert and Martin Ammeling on the mic. Match highlights as well as the press conference and the match reactions will be available on BVB TV among others and on the “Aktuelles Sportstudio” (ZDF) from 23:00 CET. Edin Terzic will be the studio guest.
