14 players have been called up by their national team coaches for the upcoming international period. Six players will link up with the DFB squad.
The Germany internationals only have friendly fixtures against Japan and France on the agenda. Youssoufa Moukoko (Germany) and Jamie Bynoe-Gittens (England) will play in the group stages to qualify for the U21 European Championship. Gregor Kobel (Switzerland), Donyell Malen (Netherlands), Salih Özcan (Türkiye), Julian Ryerson (Norway) and Marcel Sabitzer (Austria) will also be in EURO qualifying action. Ramy Bensebaini (Algeria) and Sebastien Haller (Ivory Coast) will play the final qualifying matches for the Africa Cup of Nations in January 2024, for which they have already wrapped up qualification with their national teams.
