VfL Bochum 1848 has reached agreement with Moritz Römling on a contract extension, with the new working paper now valid until June 30, 2024. In addition, the 21-year-old left-footer will be loaned to 3. Liga promoted Rot-Weiss Essen for the upcoming season.
Sebastian Schindzielorz, Director of Sport at VfL Bochum 1848, says: “It is important for Moritz to get match practice. We can’t currently offer him that to the extent that would be necessary for his development. Moritz Römling knows the third division, he is challenged there and can use the chance for playing time.”
