The summer transfer window is open! Transfer Talk brings you all the latest buzz on rumours, comings, goings and, of course, done deals!

Barcelona are still in talks with Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah over a possible move, reports Sky Sports Deutschland’s Florian Plettenberg.

Barcelona have been chasing a deal for the defender, though a deal has yet to materialise with the transfer window approaching its conclusion. The Spanish giants have focused on other targets in recent weeks, but a deal is still alive.

The tweet suggests that the Bundesliga champions would part ways with Tah for €30 million, but Barcelona are currently only willing to splash out €20m. There has not yet been a concrete approach from Barcelona, and whether Leverkusen’s asking price drops in the coming days remains to be seen.

Tah played a vital role in Leverkusen’s domestic double last season and with his contract expiring next year, the 28-year-old has attracted significant attention, placing the Bundesliga champions under pressure.

However, despite this pressure, Leverkusen have so far proved unwilling to part ways with the defender and have stood firm in their €30m valuation.

Amongst the clubs who showed an interest in the Germany international were Bayern Munich. However, their interest has struggled to progress into advanced talks, and a deal has not come to fruition, potentially leaving the door open for Barcelona.

– Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman is considering his options following an approach from Al Hilal, reports Sky Sports. Al Hilal were monitoring the Frenchman this summer and have already prepared a substantial contract offer to Coman. The Saudi side’s approach to the Bundesliga side has already reportedly been accepted, though there has not yet been an agreement with the player. It is reported that Coman is still weighing up the deal and has not yet given the green light to the move.

– Chelsea are confident of landing a deal for Napoli forward Victor Osimhen, reports TeamTalk. The report reveals that even though there is interest from Saudi Arabia, namely Al Ahli, Osimhen would prefer to remain in Europe, with the Nigeria international open to the possibility of a move to Chelsea. It is reported that Chelsea are in talks regarding a £60m deal and the Blues are willing to make Osimhen their new highest earner to secure the deal.

– Real Betis are pushing for a deal for Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Giovani Lo Celso, reports Fabrizio Romano. The tweet indicates that Lo Celso has been a “top target” for the midfield for the Spanish club since June. With Nabil Fekir set to leave Betis, it is expected that they will strike a deal for Lo Celso before the transfer window closes.

– Manchester United winger Jadon Sancho has given the green light for a move to Juventus, reports Nicolo Schira. Sancho has been heavily linked with a move to the Italian side, however, the two clubs have not yet reached an agreement. It is reported that Juventus do not want to agree upon a loan deal with the obligation to make this permanent and instead prefer the option of a loan deal until June 2025, where they retain the option to make this move permanent.
