FCA to start the new season against Borussia Mönchengladbach
Away in Munich on matchday 2
The DFL published the fixture list for the 2023/24 Bundesliga season on Friday. FC Augsburg will begin with a home game, just like last year.
FCA host Borussia Mönchengladbach on matchday 1 (19th/20th August) at the WWK Arena. That is followed by a trip to champions FC Bayern (25th-27th August) a week later. The other two matches before the first international break are at home to VfL Bochum (1st-3rd September) and away to RB Leipzig (15th-17th September).
The last game of 2023 for the Fuggerstädter is away to VfB Stuttgart (19th-20th December), meaning matchday 17 will take place after the winter break. The first match of the new year for Enrico Maaßen’s side is at home to Bayer 04 Leverkusen (12th-14th January 2024). Leverkusen are FCA’s last opponents of 2023/24, with the Werkself due to visit the WWK Arena on Saturday, 18th May 2024 (15:30 CEST).
