Union to play Astana or KuPS

1. FC Union Berlin will face either FK Astana or KuPS in the play-off round of the UEFA Europa Conference League.

Urs Fischer’s side secured seventh spot in the Bundesliga on the last day against RB Leipzig, qualifying for European club football for the third time in the club’s history.

Standing in the way of a place in the group stages of the newly-formed UEFA Europa Conference League will be Astana from Kazakhstan or KuPS from Finland.

The UEFA Europa Conference League Play-Off Round ties will be played on August 19 & 26. 

Union’s home matches will take place at the Olympic Stadium.
